Project Overview
The challenge is to integrate a novel EV drivetrain into an existing ICE vehicle in minimum time and without benefit of development testing. The solution is to integrate multi-disciplinary simulation into the design process.
- Multibody dynamics simulation to develop a loads map prior to design
- Structural and vibration simulation to position the mounts and maximize performance
- Stress and durability modeling integrated with topology optimization to develop an ideal design before drawing the CAD
- Prototype fabrication and track test validation to prove it all works
